Deputy Minister Dr. Adnan ERTEM Hosted the OECD Delegation and Presented Assessments on the OECD 2024 Türkiye Review Report

Critical topics were addressed in the meeting, including the structure of Türkiye's labour market, the current status and developments in women's employment, the evolving needs of the labour market, the training of a workforce with qualifications aligned to these needs, and the employment of skilled migrants in our country.

Speaking on behalf of the OECD delegation, Mr. Pierre Beynet shared the findings and recommendations prepared within the scope of the 2024 Türkiye Review Report with the Ministry representatives, stating that the final version of the report would be shaped based on the contributions of relevant institutions.

Within the scope of the meeting, our Ministry's representatives provided their opinions and contributions regarding the findings and recommendations included in the report.

In his speech at the meeting, our Deputy Minister Dr. Adnan ERTEM expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders involved in the preparation of the 2024 Türkiye Review Report and expressed his appreciation of the continued strengthening of the longstanding cooperation between the OECD and Türkiye.

He also stated that the OECD 2026 Skills Summit, to be hosted by Türkiye in 2026, would serve as a tangible indicator of such cooperation.
