Minister Işıkhan held official visits in Egypt.

Minister of Labour and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan visited Egypt in order to attend the 1st Meeting of the Türkiye-Egypt Inter-Ministerial Joint Labour Commission and to conduct some official engagements.

The meeting was held with the participation of Egyptian Minister of Labour Mohammed Abdul Aziz Cebran and accompanying delegations.

The parties of the meeting expressed their hope that the co-signed 2025-2026 Action Plan would strengthen employment and labour markets, as well as deepen cooperation between the two countries and contribute to the peace and prosperity of the region.

After the meeting, Minister Işıkhan visited Turkish companies that operate in Egypt and also have investments in Türkiye.

Within the scope of his official visits to Egypt, Minister Işıkhan also met with Salih Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of Turkiye to Cairo.
