Negotiations were held on the relations between the two countries as well as enhancement of the cooperation in the fields of labour and social security.

Our Distinguished Minister Prof. Dr. Vedat IŞIKHAN received the Ambassador of Italy to Ankara, Mr. Giorgio MARRAPODI in his office on 25 March 2025.

During the meeting which took place in an amicable and fruitful atmosphere, the sides addressed the current bilateral relations and prospective fields of cooperation between the counterpart Ministry of Italy and our Ministry, particularly in the field of social security, as well as the preparations for the 4th Session of the Intergovernmental Summit between Türkiye and Italy to be organized in Rome next month.

The meeting ended after the affirmation of the common will for enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.
