Within the scope of the “Hiya-MENA Initiative” which is organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and targeting Middle Eastern and North African countries, a workshop was hosted by our Ministry at the Social Security Institution Erdoğan Özen Meeting Hall on September 30, 2025.

Our Ministry hosted the Hiya-Mena Initiative Workshop

Within the scope of the “Hiya-MENA Initiative” which is organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and targeting Middle Eastern and North African countries, a workshop was hosted by our Ministry at the Social Security Institution Erdoğan Özen Meeting Hall on September 30, 2025.

The workshop, attended by approximately fifty participants, including representatives from public institutions, social security organizations, civil society organizations, and international experts from Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco, began with opening speech of Ali AYBEY, Director General of Foreign Relations and European Union. During the workshop, presentations were made regarding projects supporting women's participation in registered employment in Turkey and successful efforts to expand the scope of our social security system.

At the end of the workshop, it was agreed to organize an online seminar upon the request of the participants.
