Annual Forum of the Coalition on Global Social Justice was Held

On the first day of the Forum which began with the keynote speech delivered by Director General of ILO Gilbert F. Houngbo, a session was convened during which coalition partners shared their activities on the thematic priorities of the formation and assessed the opportunities for enhancing the current cooperation.

On the second day of the Forum, a panel was held on the implementation of the resolutions adopted at the 2^nd Global Social Development Summit and laid down in Doha Declaration. The program went on with sessions in which coalition partners shared their experiences.   

Our Director General Mr. Ali Aybey, who attended the Forum as representative of our Ministry, underlined the importance of ensuring social justice and just transition in the process of green and digital transformation, informing the participants on the concrete steps taken by our country in this regard.

Providing information also on the National Just Transition Strategy prepared by our Ministry, Our Director General Mr. Ali Aybey invited the coalition partners to the round-table meeting on just transition planned to be held at ministerial level on the margin of COP31 in Antalya on 18 November 2026.
