Second Round of Negotiations on the Turkiye–Uzbekistan Social Security Agreement

Second Round of Negotiations on the Türkiye – Uzbekistan Social Security Agreement was held.

The second round of negotiations on the conclusion of a Social Security Agreement between Türkiye and Uzbekistan was held in Türkiye between 22 and 26 June 2026.

The Turkish delegation, comprising representatives from our Directorate-General and the Social Security Institution (SGK) was led by Ömer Küçükevcilioğlu, Director-General of Pension Services at the SGK, whilst the Uzbek delegation was led by Nuriddin Abdumalikovich Hadıkhodjaev, Deputy Director-General of the Extra-Budgetary Pension Fund at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Uğur Emre Bektaş, Director of the Agreements Department, attended the meeting on behalf of our Ministry.

As a result of the discussions, the parties reached agreement on the draft texts of the Social Security Agreement and the Administrative Agreement governing the implementation of the said Agreement.
