Officials from the Venezuelan Embassy in Ankara Visited Our Ministry

The meeting was attended by a delegation headed by Uğur Emre Bektaş, Head of the Department of Agreements of our Directorate General, with representatives from our Directorate General, the General Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), the Social Security Institution (SGK), and the Directorate General of Labour.

During the meeting, the Venezuelan side was briefed on Türkiye’s social security system, as well as the position of persons with disabilities in working life in Türkiye, their employment, and practices aimed at supporting their participation in working life.

In addition, cooperation activities that could be carried out between the two countries in the fields of labour and social security falling within the remit of our Ministry were discussed and views were exchanged.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on maintaining mutual information-sharing in the fields of labour and social security.
