Labour and Social Security Attaché’s Office in Nuremberg paid a visit to the Bavarian Statistical Office, the official statistical agency of the State of Bavaria.

During the visit, conducted by our Labour and Social Security Counsellor in Nuremberg, Ali Haksever, opportunities for data sharing and institutional cooperation in various fields, particularly population, demography, employment and social structure, were discussed. Jan Kurzidim, Head of Division 4 of the Bavarian Statistics Office, Dr Karin Tesching, Head of the Centre of Expertise for Population and Demography, and Nina Schwenzl, Officer responsible for the Zensus Population Census, attended the meeting.

During the visit by Ali Haksever, our Labour and Social Security Attaché in Nuremberg, opportunities for data sharing and institutional cooperation were discussed, focusing primarily on population, demography, employment and social structure. The meeting was attended by Jan Kurzıdım, Head of Department 4 at the Bavarian Statistical Office; Dr Karin Teschıng, Director of the Centre of Expertise for Population and Demography; and Nina Schwenzl, Head of the Zensus Population Census.

During the meetings, information was shared on the organisational structure, areas of responsibility and statistical activities of the institution, while presentations were made on population and demographic structure, the population census, household structure, employment and statistical data concerning our citizens.

The visit also included an exchange of views on data production processes and on enhancing communication and cooperation between our Attaché Office and the institution.
