Meetings Held on the Renewal of the Social Security Agreement with Azerbaijan
A delegation led by our Deputy Minister, Dr Adnan Ertem, undertook a working visit to Azerbaijan from 5 to 7 October 2026 to hold meetings on the renewal of the Social Security Agreement currently in force between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
The delegation of our Ministry was received by Anar ALIYEV, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Deputy Minister Rashad Mustafayev. During the meetings, the implementation of the existing Social Security Agreement and the content of the agreement to be renewed were discussed.
As part of the visit, the delegation of our Ministry also visited the Baku Turkish Martyrs’ Memorial. During the visit, our soldiers who fell martyrdom during the liberation of Baku by the Army of Islam of the Caucasus in 1918 were commemorated with mercy and gratitude.
