Meeting on "Access to Registered Employment” was held in Mersin

Under the coordination of our Directorate General and in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Directorate of Migration Management, the Ministry of National Education and local stakeholders, “Access to Registered Employment Meeting” was held in Mersin.

Organized with the aim of promoting formal employment within the scope of the European Union-funded Project on "Promoting Sustainable and Socially Inclusive Labour Market Integration”, the event brought together 70 companies and more than 3,000 job seekers. The project aimed to increase access to formal employment for host community members, Syrian Citizens under Temporary Protection and individuals with International Protection Status and to strengthen social cohesion.

At the event organized within the scope of the “Access to Formal Employment Meeting”, short interviews were conducted, CV guidance support was provided, women, youth and vulnerable groups were supported to participate in the labor market and guidance processes to formal employment were initiated.
